Named after the esteemed Indian philosopher Swami Vivekananda, the institution’s primary mission is to provide education to rural and economically disadvantaged students.

  • Extensive Reach: The Sanstha operates over 330 educational and cultural centers across 13 districts in Maharashtra and one in Karnataka, serving approximately 200,000 students. These centers include 170 high schools, 66 junior colleges, 18 arts, commerce, and science colleges, 8 training colleges, 3 B.Ed colleges, a law college, multipurpose high schools, 19 hostels, and a residential school.
  • Founder’s Vision: Dr. Bapuji Salunkhe dedicated his life to uplifting marginalized communities through education. His efforts were recognized with the “Dalit Mitra” award by the Government of Maharashtra and an honorary D.Litt by Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
